Addallee Hope Bates (born February 17, 2006) is the fifteenth child and eighth daughter of Gil Bates and Kelly Bates.
She is the sister of Zachary Bates, Michaela Keilen, Erin Paine, Lawson Bates, Nathan Bates, Alyssa Webster, Tori Smith, Trace Bates, Carlin Stewart, Josie Balka, Katie Clark, Jackson Bates, Warden Bates, Isaiah Bates, Ellie Bates, Callie-Anna Bates, Judson Bates, and Jeb Bates.
Early life[]
Addallee as a toddler
Addallee Hope Bates was born on February 17, 2006, in Tennessee, to Gil Bates and Kelly Bates. She was the couple's fifteenth child, and they went on to have four more children after her.
Addallee was born premature with complications that caused her breathing and heart to stop. She weighed only 4 pounds and 13 ounces when she came home from the NICU. She was given several sets of double letters in her name as a reminder that God gave her a second chance. Her rough beginning also caused her to lose some of her hearing. She regularly goes to an audiologist and has made great improvements. She currently wears hearing aids.
Along with her siblings, Addallee was homeschooled growing up. She and her siblings were raised as active participants of Bill Gothard's Institute in Basic Life Principles, and regularly attended the yearly Advanced Training Institute conferences in Big Sandy, Texas. She graduated on May 26, 2024.
Addallee is said to be a thoughtful child who always puts others first, often giving up her own turns to make a sibling happy.

Addallee will attend Crown College of the Bible. She will graduate in 2025 from the one year Bible program.

Television[]
Addallee appeared on the TLC show 19 Kids and Counting many times as a child.
In 2012, TLC aired one season of the show United Bates of America, which focused on Addallee's family.
In 2015, UpTV began airing a similar show, Bringing Up Bates. Addallee was regularly featured in both shows.

She was a bridesmaid at her sister Katie's wedding to Travis Clark on December 3, 2021.
She was a bridesmaid at her brother Trace's wedding to Lydia Romeike on October 1, 2022.
