Kaci Lynn Bates (born June 20, 2016) is the second child and first daughter of Zachary Bates and Whitney Bates.
She is the sister of Bradley Bates, Khloé Bates, Jadon Bates and Lily Bates.
Early life
Kaci as a baby
On October 29, 2015, at their son Bradley's first birthday party, Zach and Whitney Bates announced to their families that they were expecting their second child. They publicly announced this pregnancy on January 7, 2016, saying the baby was due that summer.
On February 11, 2016, they shared a photo after their 20 week checkup, meaning the due date was in late June or early July 2016. They learned the sex of the baby at this appointment and decided on a name, and they told their followers they would share that information in two weeks.
On February 25, 2016, Zach and Whitney announced that they were having a girl to be named Kaci Lynn Bates.
On March 16, 2016, Whitney posted that she was at 25 weeks and 4 days, and she couldn't wait to meet her baby in June.
At 10:32 p.m. on June 20, 2016, Kaci Lynn Bates was born. She weighed 7 pounds and 8 ounces. Her middle name was in honor of her maternal grandmother, Lynn Perkins. Her parents were very excited to welcome her into the world:
"We were overcome with emotions that just cannot be described when we saw our little Kaci Lynn and held her in our arms for the first time. We have anticipated this moment for months, yet it exceeded all of our dreams. Looking in her sweet little eyes just took our breath away."

Along with her siblings, Kaci is currently being homeschooled.

Kaci was regularly featured on the UpTV show Bringing Up Bates. Her birth was featured in the episode "Meet Kaci Lynn Bates!".
Wedding involvement
Kaci was a flower girl at her uncle Nathan's wedding to Esther Keyes on October 22, 2021.
She was a flower girl at her uncle Lawson's wedding to Tiffany Espensen on May 12, 2022.
