Robert "Kade" Ellis Smith IV (born November 9, 2018) is the first child and first son of Bobby Smith and Tori Smith.
He is the brother of Kolter Smith, Charlotte Smith, and Cambree Smith. He will be the brother of Baby Smith.
Early life
Kade as a baby
On May 10, 2018, Bobby and Tori Smith announced that they were expecting their first child, due Fall 2018.
"We're having a baby! We are thrilled that God has blessed us with this amazing privilege, and we cannot wait to meet our precious little gift from Him. We're on the edge of our seats to see whether it's a boy or a girl!"
On June 21, 2018, Bobby and Tori revealed that they were expecting a boy, to be named Robert Ellis Smith IV, and that they would call him Kade.
"This little one has already changed our lives for the better and is so loved. We cannot wait to meet him! Thank you all for the love and support you've shown us. We are truly blessed."
On the Bringing Up Bates episode "One Week, Three Babies?!", which aired on July 26, 2018, Tori revealed that his due date was November 24, 2018.
Robert "Kade" Ellis Smith IV was born at 7:45 a.m. on November 9, 2018, at St. Thomas Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee. He weighed 6 pounds and 1 ounce, and was 18 inches long.
"Welcoming Baby Kade into this world has truly been the most surreal experience to walk through together. Every moment with him just seems to glue this new family together, and we are so excited about the future we know God has in store for his life."

Kade frequently appeared on the UpTV show Bringing Up Bates. His birth was featured on the episode "It's a Boy & Maybe One More?".

Kade was the ring bearer at his aunt Catherine's wedding to Aaron Kenney on June 6, 2020.
He was a ring bearer at his uncle Nathan's wedding to Esther Keyes on October 22, 2021.
He was a ring bearer at his uncle Jackson's wedding to Emerson Wells on October 14, 2023.
