Tiffany Bates

Tiffany Lian Bates (née Espensen) (born February 10, 1999) is the only child of Dan Espensen and Robin Espensen.

She is the half-sister of Erik Espensen.

She is the wife of Lawson Bates and the mother of their son, William.

Early life[]

Tiffany Lian Espensen was born on February 10, 1999, in Lianjiang County, China. She was left on the hospital steps after her birth. She was then adopted by Dan Espensen and Robin Espensen on March 21, 2000, when she was 13 months old. She was the couple's only child.

Tiffany grew up in Los Angeles, California, and was a child actress.

Tiffany was baptized when she was 18 years old.

Relationship with Lawson[]

Tiffany began dating Lawson Bates on September 22, 2020. She confirmed her relationship with Lawson on February 4, 2021, when she joined his family on a getaway to Colorado.

Engagement[]

Tiffany and Lawson announced their engagement on October 28, 2021. They got engaged on October 26, 2021 in Siena, Italy, during a trip to Italy where both Lawson and Tiffany's parents were present. Lawson invited them to Italy under the pretense that he was shooting a new music video for his song "Crazy Love" that he sings as a duet with Tiffany.

Marriage[]

On May 12, 2022, Tiffany married William Lawson Bates on the California Spirit yacht in San Diego, California. The wedding had around 200 guests. The wedding was officiated by Lawson's father Gil Bates and Tiffany's pastor Jim Garlow. Tiffany's matron of honor was her mother Robin. Her bridesmaids were Lawson's sister Ellie, Lawson's sister-in-law Esther, her cousin Mia Martin, and her friend Chelle Andreoli. The flower girls were Lawson's nieces Kaci and Khloé. Lawson's best man was his brother Nathan. His groomsmen were his brothers Trace, Jackson, Warden, and Isaiah and his friend Jonas Thatcher. The ring bearers were Lawson's nephews Bradley and Carson. The pianist was Lawson's brother-in-law Bobby. Lawson wrote the song "When I Say These Vows" for the wedding. The ushers were Lawson's brothers Zach and Judson and Tiffany's brother Erik. Her dress was designed by Renee Miller of Renee's Bridal.

For their honeymoon, Tiffany and Lawson went to Greece.

Motherhood[]

On December 14, 2023, she and Lawson uploaded a video to their YouTube channel where they revealed that in early 2023 they found out they were expecting their first child, but shortly after finding out they suffered a miscarriage. They named their miscarried child Hope Bates.

On March 5, 2024, Tiffany and Lawson announced that they were expecting their first child, due in early Summer 2024. Their Amazon registry stated the due date as July 30, 2024. On May 19, 2024, they revealed that they are expecting a boy. On July 25, 2024, they revealed that they were naming their son William Daniel. William Daniel Bates was born at 4:49 p.m. on July 19, 2024, in Nashville, Tennessee. He weighed 7 pounds and 2 ounces, and was 19 inches long. His birth was featured on Lawson and Tiffany's YouTube channel.

In 2019, Tiffany graduated from Liberty University with her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Religion.

In November 2021, she graduated from Grand Canyon University with her Master's Degree in Christian Ministries.

Acting[]

Tiffany began her career as a child actress making guest appearances on television series such as Hannah Montana, True Jackson, VP, and Zeke and Luther. In 2011, she landed a main role on the Nickelodeon series, Bucket & Skinner's Epic Adventures (2011-2013), on which she played "Piper Peckinpaw ", the little sister of Ashley Argota's character. She followed this up in 2014 with a co-starring role on the Disney XD series Kirby Buckets (2014-2017) as "Belinda". In 2016, she was added to the cast of the 2017 feature film Spider-Man: Homecoming, playing the role of "Cindy Moon", a role she reprised in the 2018 film Avengers: Infinity War. She guest appeared on the season 3 of Alexa & Katie (2018-2020), playing the role of "Jessica".
